Twisted bilayer graphene (TBG) consists of two graphene sheets on top of each other where one sheet is rotated with respect to the other leading to smooth moiré-like potentials where new physics emerges not shared by a single layer alone. I will discuss minimally TBG (rotation angle well below the magic angle) where an interlayer voltage leads to a network of valley chiral states. We developed a phenomenological scattering theory that only takes into account the basic symmetries of the network [1,2]. I will discuss how different electronic phases like a zigzag metallic regime or flatband pseudo-Landau levels emerge within our theory and will also discuss their transport properties in a four-terminal setup including magnetic and electric fields.
